HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2022

Held every year since 1986, the Hungarian Grand Prix is one of the most popular races on the European Formula 1 calendar. Hot weather, packed grandstands and affordable prices add to the allure of the Hungaroring, which offers excellent spectating thanks to its location in a valley. From higher vantage points, it’s possible to see around 80% of the circuit.

Hungaroring was built almost three decades ago as a rarity, the first one beyond the Iron Curtain, and now it is still special as the second behind Monza to have continuously featured in the race calendar.

The circuit is just 25 minutes from central Budapest; one of Europe’s most popular city destinations. Known for its historic architecture in equal measures and party atmosphere the Hungarian Grand Prix experience doesn’t stop when you’re away from the track.

Get up to speed with everything you need to know about the 2022 Hungarian Grand Prix, which takes place over 70 laps of the 4,381-kilometre Hungaroring in Budapest on Sunday, July 31. (We reserve the right to change the date of the race!)
