Welcome to IBUSZ Private Accommodation Service!

The private accommodation is a convenient type of lodging both for short and long stays. Further, they may allow to get close to the Hungarian living. 

Private facilities such as fully equipped kitchen and en suit bathroom belong to the private apartments, holiday houses and farm-houses whilst shared bathroom and shared kitchen (to prepare simple things) belong to the private rooms. Some of the private rooms are equipped with private bathroom. The furniture always shows the owner's taste.

Over the listed private properties on the website there are more in our allotment. All enquiries and requests are welcomed.

Reservations: can be made and confirmed through e-mail, telephone and fax.

The majority of our private properties can be booked all the year round (exceptions are indicated).

The usual required stay in a private property is minimum 4 nights in cities and 7 nights at holiday resorts (exceptions are indicated). In case of shorter stays than 4 nights there is a supplement of 30 % charged upon only one night. The tourist tax won't be charged upon the supplement.

Prices: depend on the season (in Budapest high season: from April to November and low season: from November to April), the location, length of stay and number of guests. In case of long term stays (over weeks or months) discount is available on agreement.

The prices include the private property cleaned by the time of check-in, the use of water, gas, electricity (heating in winter), bed-cloth, bed-linen, towels and after a week-stay cleaning and bed-linen/towels-change.

The tourist tax should be paid extra and it is 4 % of the renting or HUF 400/person/night in Budapest depending on the district and HUF 200-450/person/night in the countryside. 

The way and form of payment: either bank/credit card details (number, expiry and CVV-number of the card) are needed as a deposit of the booking or 2-night-stay cost as an advance cash (in Hungarian Forints) or through bank-transfer should be paid.

On arrival during the office hours the payment can be arranged either cash (in HUF) or with bank/credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) in the competent IBUSZ office.

On arrival out of the office hours the payment will be arranged on agreement.

Check-in: after 17:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

Check-out: before 12:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Other options are flexible on request.

Keys' pick-up and drop: either in the competent IBUSZ office or at the private property. Other options are on request.

Cancellation policy: cancellation over 14 days before arrival is penalty free. In case of missing the cancellation or no show or cancellation within 14 days before arrival or cancellation on the 14th day the penalty is 2-night-stay cost.

In case of discount (it is a lower price than the published minimum price per night), the penalty of 2-night-stay' cost will be charged according to the published minimum price and not according to the price of the proportional time of the reservation.

Cancellation during stay:

a./ If the price is charged by the published price the nights spent plus two nights more will have to be paid.

b./ If there is a discount the price of the proportional time of the reservation plus two nights more charged by the published minimum price will have to be paid.

We keep the right to change on the address of the reserved private property because of technical reasons.

In case the customers notice any failure in the accommodation service they should communicate the complaint with the owner and the competent IBUSZ office as soon as possible. Otherwise, the customers should undertake any harm caused by the delay.
